This Sunday sees the Beadnall Copley-sponsored 10th Annual Bramham Park Fun Run taking place with 600 runners – and walkers – from across Yorkshire taking part in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

With Wendy Hartley, a former Beadnall Copley employee and herself is a survivor of breast cancer flying in from Spain to start the race, Andrew Beadnall believes it’s an important event for an important cause: “We have been in business for eighteen years and the people from these parts have supported us over the years so we want to give back to the community. Many people who entrust us to sell their homes will be competing and we look forward to seeing them.

“The event is phenomenal - it’s a wonderful, uplifting and very emotive atmosphere. Everyone is so tired of reading doom and gloom headlines in the media – when you see cancer survivors and friends and families who have lost their loved ones striding out to raise money to fight this terrible disease with such positivity, it’s a lesson to us all to get things in perspective and be confident about the future.”

Beadnall Copley is urging people to come along and take part this Sunday morning, 12th October at 10.30 am – it’s a great day out for the family and people of all levels of fitness can take part in the 5km or 10km circuit.
